Level 1 Physical Education
Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
The course covers content relating to anatomy, physiology and biomechanics; interpersonal skills; factors that influence own participation; self-management strategies; and performance in a physical activity.
Students participate in a number of physical activities and through effective and crafted writing, relate this to their overall health and well-being (Hauora).
High levels of personal and social responsibility as well as a commitment to physical fitness and theory are important in this course.

Entry into this course is at the discretion of the HOD.
