Level 2 Music
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss S. Ahmad.
In this course, students will learn to perform, compose, research and analyse music from different styles, and develop their theory knowledge and aural skills. Students will choose their own programme of approximately 15-18 credits in consultation with their teacher. It is also recommended that students have been taking itinerant lessons for at least three years to be at the required standard for Level 2 Performance.
Recommended Prior Learning
EITHER: 15 credits in NCEA Level One Music. OR: Grade 2 theory (or equivalent) and three years tuition on an instrument. An audition may be required. (TIC discretion)
