Level 3 Sports Performance

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr B. Taylor.

This is a predominantly unit standards based course designed to get students participating in various sporting activities as well as coaching courses. 

This is balanced with theory work to understand how we perform as a team and as individuals. 

Students will participate by demonstrating quality performance in a physical activity. 

Credits in this course make a significant contribution to achievement towards NCEA Level 3. 

There will be a chance to complete the Duke of Edinburdgh Gold award., if the students have already completed bronze and silver.

Taita College PE uniform is compulsory.  

Recommended Prior Learning

Pre-Requisite: Level 2 (or Level 1) Sports Performance, or to be in a sports team, or entry into this course is at the discretion of the HOD.
